Reporting an error
Email contact@mancavebuyersguide.com with a link to the article and what you believe is wrong. Anything counts: a wrong spec, a bad link, a price that is far off, a claim you can show is mistaken.
What we do
We verify the report against primary sources: manufacturer documentation, the retailer listing, or our own notes and measurements. If we got it wrong, we correct the article promptly.
Material errors, the kind that could change a buying decision (a wrong capacity, a misstated compatibility, a verdict based on a factual mistake), get a dated correction note on the article itself, so readers can see what changed and when.
Minor errors like typos, formatting glitches, and broken links are fixed without a note.
Prices and availability
Prices and stock change constantly, so a drifted price is not an error in the article, but tell us anyway: reports like that trigger a recheck of the whole guide, and guides show their last updated date.
Disagreements
A verdict you disagree with is not a correction, but we still want to hear it, especially if your experience with a product contradicts ours. Repeated credible reports about a product we recommended will send it back into testing.
